City was unable to develop the game in the early days the last 32 first leg of the Europa League.
"I think we showed a good game. We played well. In the second half we played very well," said Mancini.
"We had some opportunities to make goals in this game and we did not give a chance to Porto. That's important because Porto are a great team," complete Mancini.
