"The coach will be provided to connect Liverpool and Crewe and Runcorn and Stafford," said a spokesman.
London Midland train derailment also affected by this, as well as trains use the route-to-Crewe Preston.
Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
Passengers traveling between Liverpool Lime Street and Crewe to London Euston have been advised to travel via Chester or Manchester Piccadilly, while those heading to the capital of Runcorn have been told to take a replacement bus service to Crewe.
Fans will be able to catch the train from Chester to Crewe to take connecting services to London.
Affected passengers can also use the First TransPennine Express and Northern Rail services between Liverpool and Manchester, Arriva Trains Wales services between Chester and Crewe and cross country and East Midlands Trains on any reasonable route.
