Coton to reinforce Hamilton management

Didier Coton, the man best known for helping steer Mika Hakkinen to Formula One success, is to work closely with Lewis Hamilton in 2012 after being appointed by the British driver’s management company, XIX Entertainment.

Both Hamilton and XIX, owned by Simon Fuller and best known for managing the likes of David Beckham and Jennifer Lopez, now hope the arrival of Coton and his extensive F1 experience will provide the 2008 world champion with a more stable environment out of the cockpit.

Other famous F1 names to have worked with Coton include former Monaco Grand Prix winner Olivier Panis and current McLaren and Williams testers Oliver Turvey and Valtteri Bottas.
